I recently had to visit night and day for an emergency dental issue, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the moment I called to schedule my appointment, the staff was incredibly understanding and supportive. They understood the urgency of my situation and managed to fit me in right away. Upon arrival, the office was welcoming and bright, which helped to ease my nerves a bit. The dental staff, including the two dentists were not only professional but also genuinely caring. They took the time to explain what the issue was and the steps they would take to address it. The procedure was quick and, surprisingly, very comfortable. I really appreciated how the dentists made sure I was informed throughout the process and checked in on me regularly to ensure I was okay. Overall, my emergency visit turned out to be a much better experience than I had anticipated. I left feeling relieved and grateful for such compassionate care. I highly recommend night and day if you ever find yourself in need of emergency dental services! Thank you, to you both and team, for turning a stressful situation into a positive one!

I had a cracked tooth and was in agony, I got an appointment straight away and couldn’t be happier. Options explained and tooth removed, pain free what a relief and worth every penny. Highly recommend. This is a genius business idea as getting a dentist appointment can be difficult at best.

Yesterday I visited for an emergency appointment and was looked after brilliantly by the whole team. I’m an extremely anxious person and also have some sensory issues, but they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and supported throughout. I needed a lower back tooth extraction, and all treatment was carried out on the same day—completely pain free. For a same-day service, I found the cost to be more than fair. What really impressed me was the aftercare: the team followed up to check on how I was doing, which made me feel genuinely cared for. A special thank you to Jess on reception for her kindness and reassurance, Nurse Lucie for her calm and caring manner, and Dr. Sulaiman for his skill and patience. Highly recommend this practice for anyone who is nervous about dental treatment or doesn't have a dentist at all —you’ll be in safe hands.

Had a toothache on Bank Holiday Monday. I called Night and Day Emergency Dentist, and they got me in the same day. I definitely recommend these guys worth every penny to get pain-free! Dr. Khan was amazing.

I am exceptionally anxious about going to the dentist but had to make an emergency appointment after no sleep and in terrible pain. I have to say I could not have asked for more kind and understanding staff. Anis on the desk was so lovely when I called very stressed and lost, he gave me directions and was very welcoming. When I had a nightmare parking he offered to watch my car from the window - where else would you get that service. The nurses were exceptional, Keisha and Britney were so kind. They took the time to talk through everything, even though the surgery was really busy they did not make me feel rushed. I think if I had met them 20 years ago I may not have had the fear of dentists I have today. Honestly the kindest people, and I am very grateful. Juraid the dentist was equally wonderful, taking time to talk, helping me feel calm. If I could give 10 stars I would. If you are an anxious patient I can say you will not regret for a second making an appointment. Don't think anyone can ever enjoy having a tooth removed but if anyone could make it a pleasant experience it was these staff. Huge thank you

Some home methods to treat tooth if you can’t access a dentist2023-03-03T10:39:50+00:00

Warm salt water rinses are very useful if you have swelling or some sort of infection, as salt water is a natural antiseptic and can reduce pain. Another temporary measure is taking over the counter painkillers as this will slightly reduce any pain. Always consult with a professional before taking any medication.

Why is tooth ache worse at night time?2023-03-03T10:40:36+00:00

Most people suffer from dental pain at night due to the position in which they are laying down, as blood rushes to the head and the pain or swelling in the tooth increases. To avoid this pain, we advise visiting the dentist as they will be able to take X-Rays and provide suitable treatment.

If I go to A&E with tooth ache will they treat me?2023-03-03T10:41:35+00:00

Unfortunately, toothache is not classed as a life threatening emergency so they will not be able to treat you.

However, if you have facial swelling that is affecting your ability to breathe then we advise you to visit A&E.

How to get emergency dental treatment on the NHS?2025-05-13T07:29:12+00:00

If you are registered with an NHS dentist you may be able to get a dentist appointment at your own dentist, however it may not be on the same day. Dental practices generally close at 5 pm so to get an NHS emergency dentist appointment may be difficult.

Out of hours NHS do provide emergency appointments but have very strict criteria such as persistent bleeding and unable to breathe or swallow due to swelling.

If this is the case your NHS dentist should have an alternate local number for you to call in the case of emergency.

Night and Day Emergency Dentist provides private treatment and promises to see you on the same day. You can contact one of the reception staff members on 07593 877 677 and get an appointment immediately.

Once we do special tests to see what is wrong with the tooth we always discuss all costs before treatment starts. There are no hidden costs.
